ProMendoza and Tupungato work for more companies to export

The mayor of Tupungato, Gustavo Soto, met with the manager of ProMendoza, Mario Lázzaro, the head of Trade Promotion, Gaetano Aguilera Prisco, and the head of the Uco Valley Region, Javier Rojas, to coordinate actions that facilitate the export of products and services of the SMEs of the municipality, as well as the internationalization of the companies that produce them.

During the visit, ProMendoza presented the mayor and his team with foreign trade tools for municipalities to integrate with ProMendoza in a common direction. They explored Mendoza's geopolitical vision and the post-pandemic and war opportunities in the world. There was talk of regional strengths to promote, such as wine, garlic, potatoes and nuts.

"The vocation of ProMendoza is to reach more and more SMEs in the province, so that they can export, and in this sense, the alliance with the regions and municipalities is the key to give our work more capillarity, reaching all corners of the province," said Lázzaro.

"We are already working with other municipalities, thus supporting entrepreneurs and micro-enterprises that provide services, because they are a fundamental component in the productive matrix of each region," concluded the manager.

Mayor Soto, for his part, said that “we want to work to convert small companies with export potential into real exporters, and increase the number and exports of companies that already export in the area. We also seek to strengthen the relationship with Germany and expand the Brazilian and Mexican markets for Tupungato products, promoting foreign tourism in the region."

In this way, ProMendoza makes available to all the municipalities of Mendoza, its current programs and their application, services to the exporter and importer and calendar of activities: program of Fairs, Trade Missions and Reverse Business Rounds, among others. In addition, it permanently shares updated market information and personalized advice to the businessman to accompany him in making decisions related to foreign trade.
